Direct Current (New
York City, NY) is a
shocking new performance company dedicated to investigating and revolutionizing
"The Way We Do Things." In 2007 Direct Current began producing Alternating Current,
a unique party and variety show that has presented dozens of writers, dancers,
film makers, musicians and performance artists. In 2009 Direct Current will
produce the first annual Semi-International Tiny Festival of Modern Theater and
Dance, a festival of workshops and guest curated events. 10-Speed Revolution
is Direct Current's first fully produced show on any stage anywhere.
Walking
Shadow Theatre Company (Minneapolis, MN) has gained a reputation for creating well-staged and
carefully researched independent theater in Minneapolis
since 2004. Past productions include the regional premieres of Neil
LaBute’s Fat Pig and Noah Haidle’s Mr. Marmalade. This
August they are producing John Heimbuch’s original undead epic, William

STAFF
Nathan Lemoine (Artistic Director, Direct Current) received his MFA in Directing from Ohio University.
Lemoine is a member of the Lincoln
Center's Directors Lab
'07, Vampire Cowboy's Theater Company, Guerilla Dance Team and is the producing
Artistic Director of the new monthly performance lounge Alternating Current.
He is a director, writer and freelance scenic carpenter and props designer. He

John
Heimbuch (Playwright, Walking Shadow) is a Minneapolis-based
theatre artist whose other plays include The Lives of the Most Notorious
Highwaymen, Or the White Whale, Shakespeare's Land of the Dead,
and the penny-dreadful serial London After Midnight. John is a member of
the Lincoln Center's Directors Lab '07 and the
co-Artistic Director of Walking
Shadow Theatre Company, where has served in a variety of capacities,

Kelli
Patterson (Managing Director) Previous credits include
Assistant Director of Last Night in Brooklyn with Cypher
Productions in Brooklyn, NY.
Stage Manager of various plays with Tibbits Summer Theatre in Coldwater, MI.
Production Assistant of Kimberly Akimbo with Manhattan Theatre Club
in New York, NY.
Degrees include a B.F.A. in Stage Management from SUNY Purchase in Westchester, NY and an A.A.S. Candidate for Accounting
from Briarcliffe
College
on Long Island.
This is Kelli’s first production with Direct Current, and hopes to continue
collaborations with Nate Lemoine in the future.
Gib
Patterson (Set Designer) Previous credits included various works in
industrial fabrications with DCM Fabrication in Brooklyn, NY.
Set designer of Last Night In Brooklyn with Cypher Productions in Brooklyn, NY.
Carpentry and scenic work with Tibbits Summer Theatre in Coldwater, MI. Gib has
a B.F.A. in Scenic Design from SUNY Purchase in Westchester, NY.
Gib is happy to be working in a theatrical environment again, and enjoys
wearing pants.
